See the girl behind the puppets on the left? That's me, Amy (Engelke) Siegert. I've been writing stories, plays, poems, and personal histories since the age of five. I love to write, and I love anything to do with strengthening the family. Put those two loves together, and you get SAY IT AGAIN! My audio-photo memory book business took five years to materialize, but all of the hard work, interviews, techie research, mistakes and triumphs were worth it. Whether you just have a few anecdotes, a list of jokes or recipes, or a full autobiography to share, I look forward to working with you as we make YOUR book and record YOUR voice!
I have a bachelor's degree in education and taught grades K-8 for several years before staying home to raise our five young children. I have a certification in Youth and Family Ministry, writing & teaching Christian Education curriculums (Vacation Bible School, Bible Club, and Sunday School) for over twenty years. I also have a college minor in theatre, performing and directing at the youth, college, and community levels. I have written nine full-length plays, two musicals, and three mystery party packages, along with countless skits for the school, church, and community stage. I've taught memory-writing classes for intergenerational groups for two years. My biggest credentials, however, are a desire to glorify God through my writing and my relationships with people. I feel compelled to help people find the value in their stories (the ups AND the downs) as it relates to themselves, their families, and future generations!
